BYD Auto has unveiled an enticing offer at this year’s Melbourne Motor Show, providing new car buyers with an exclusive “Green Home Charger” by EV Switch, completely free of charge. This initiative not only adds convenience but supports Australia’s growing transition to electric vehicles (EVs).
The BYD Green Home Charger boasts a robust 7kW charging capacity, equipped with a practical three-metre Type 2 charging cable. Designed for reliability and ease of use, the charger is suited for home installations and significantly reduces the recharge time compared to standard power outlets.
Currently valued at $999, this state-of-the-art charger is already on sale for $699, marking a 30% discount. Nevertheless, BYD is stepping up the value proposition by offering the charger completely free with every vehicle purchased during the Melbourne Motor Show weekend.
The promotion isn’t limited to attendees in Melbourne. Sydney-based buyers are also eligible, provided they complete their vehicle purchase between April 5-6. The offer spans BYD’s entire lineup, including popular models like the Dolphin, Atto 3, Shark 6, Seal, Sealion 6, and Sealion 7, as well as demonstrator vehicles.
